The school seeks an experienced middle school Spanish teacher who connects with the Friends school mission, which provides an exemplary education in a community dedicated to problem-solving, service to others, simplicity, social justice, and quiet reflection. We offer Spanish language classes emphasizing communication and literacy for both heritage speakers and second language learners; we make frequent cultural and service-oriented field trips in our Mission District neighborhood. The middle school Spanish teacher will join a Spanish department of four.
