INTERIM SPANISH TEACHER
Starts August 2024 – June 2025, Full-time and Benefits
Full time salary range – depending upon experience and education – is $62,000-120,000

- excellent communicator and collaborator
- compassionate guide for the Preschool and Elementary years
- expertise in setting students up for success as Spanish speakers in High School and beyond
- stand-up comedian…or at least has a good sense of humor
The Work
- Teach Preschool and Lower School Spanish
- Foster a love and joy for the Spanish language and world language studies
- Collaborate with department colleagues to design and implement courses
- Implement World Readiness Standards by ACTFL for Language Learning
- Cultivate students’ sound skills (speaking, listening, pronunciation) and work habits
- Integrate technology into teaching and learning
- Design innovative, thematic-based learning opportunities to deepen understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures
- Employ strategies to address different learners
- Partner with parents and guardians
- Possibility to start earlier as long term Spanish Substitute Teacher
