The Carey School
The Carey School, a Preschool to 5th grade independent school in San Mateo, California is seeking a creative, energetic and responsible upper grade assistant teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This role is a full-time position working with a lead teacher, participating in classroom lessons and grade level planning. The ideal candidate will possess experience with elementary-aged children and prove to be adept with classroom management and lesson execution. Qualified candidates will have a love of children and knowledge of the developmental levels that span preschool to fifth grade. Candidates in teaching programs, or those interested in a teaching career, are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time position with generous benefits.
