JOB OPENING: High School Math Teacher

REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal for Academics
LOCATION: In-person on Campus in San Francisco, CA
STATUS: EXEMPT
SALARY RANGE: $85,000-$120,000 (Subject to experience and qualifications)

PRIMARY ROLE:
Teach 5 SECTIONS OF MATH (Should able to teach across the curriculum including
Honors and AP courses) ONSITE, IN CLASSROOM SETTING (This is NOT a remote
position)

Position Overview
We seek a dynamic and mission-driven Mathematic Teacher who is passionate about
teaching and committed to educating the whole student. The ideal candidate will thrive

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Teach Mathematic across grade levels in a secondary school setting.
  • Design and implement engaging, rigorous lessons aligned with established
    curriculum.
  • Develop and utilize meaningful assessments to support student growth.
  • Incorporate educational technology effectively while maintaining a
    classroom centered on intellectual inquiry and active student engagement.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement in collaboration
    with colleagues.
  • Participate actively in a dynamic professional learning community.
  • Support the school’s mission by contributing to campus ministry and
    co-curricular activities.
  • Foster a positive classroom culture rooted in restorative practices and
    relationship-building.
  • Foster a classroom and school environment that values diversity, equity,
    inclusion, and belonging.
  • Model professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in all interactions.
  • Serve as a positive role model for students and colleagues.
  • Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and professionalism.
  • Handle projects and special assignments from management, ensuring
    timely and effective completion of tasks outside regular responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Math or a closely related field (advanced degrees
    encouraged).
  • Mastery of subject matter and ability to teach across multiple grade levels.
  • Successful teaching experience at the secondary school and/or university level.
  • Strong teaching ability and enthusiasm for working with adolescents.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating educational technology effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented
    environment.
