Lick-Wilmerding High School
Lick-Wilmerding High School seeks a part-time French for the 2020-21 school year, beginning in mid August.
Responsibilities: This is a 40% position, teaching French 3 and 4 Honors. The position could be 60% with the addition of the role of advising. Advisors meet biweekly with about twelve students. Candidates also able to teach Spanish may have the opportunity for increased employment in future years.
Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have:
A minimum of three years teaching experience at the high school level, native or near-native fluency in French.
A deep knowledge of French language and Francophone cultures.
Experience teaching accelerated/honors or AP courses.
And familiarity with student-centered approaches to teaching language.
