Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

Crystal seeks a regular full-time exempt (1.0 FTE, 10-month) Upper School Biology Teacher starting August 2024. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of biology or natural sciences teaching experience OR other relevant academic research and teaching experience.

Required to attend the start of year retreat; this is an overnight retreat for students by grade level.

Attend New PAC orientation and PAC WEEK prior to the start of school for students, as well as participate in other mandatory school events.

Required education and experience

At least three years of biology, or natural sciences teaching experience OR other relevant academic research and teaching experience

Preferred education and experience

Master’s degree

At least 3 years of teaching biology

Salary and Benefits

This is a regular exempt full-time (40 hours/week), benefits-eligible, 10-month Faculty position, and the annual salary is commensurate with experience within the range of $70,000 – $150,000.

The recruitment period will remain open until sufficient resumes have been received and may close at any time a sufficient pool of highly qualified candidates has been established. First consideration will be given to individuals that apply between February 22, 2024 through March 14, 2024. Second consideration will be given to individuals that apply between March 15, 2024 through April 4, 2024. The ideal start date for this position is August 1, 2024.
