Second Date: Inspiring Aspiring Leaders of Color – Information Meeting

January 27, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm PST

If you are BIPOC and have wondered about how you might structure your career to become a school leader, or if you simply wonder about what leadership outside of the role of classroom or specialist teacher might look like, please consider joining our initial cohort.

Our work together will include both small group and individual mentoring, opportunities to consider multiple pathways towards leadership, support for managing the special challenges of being BIPOC in primarily white institutions and specific counseling on leadership skill areas and opportunities to enhance your candidacy.

This group is designed for educators at any point in their career.  Our goal is to provide you both the mentorship and the sponsorship necessary to move into leadership roles through both theoretical and practical frames.

JOIN US on Wednesday January 27, 2021 from 5:30-6:30 for an informational meeting about this unique free leadership training opportunity. If you attended the January 13th info night, no need to attend this session.

This is an affinity space

You know you are in the right affinity group if you can say unequivocally, “I am ______” and speak to that group’s collective identity and experience from the “I” and “we” perspective.

A link for the event will be sent to you after January 25, 2021.
