LOCATION: In-person on Campus in San Francisco, CA
STATUS: EXEMPT, FULL TIME, NOT REMOTE
SALARY RANGE: $85,000-$120,000 (Subject to experience and qualifications)

PRIMARY ROLE:
Teach 5 SECTIONS OF MANDARIN ONSITE, NOT-REMOTE

Position Overview
We seek a dynamic and mission-driven Mandarin Teacher who is passionate about teaching and committed to educating the whole student. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative learning environment, contribute to the life of the school beyond the classroom, and demonstrate excellence in instruction, communication, and professional growth.

• Effective and engaging teaching practices, with a genuine enthusiasm for working with adolescents

• The ability to teach across multiple grade levels

• Willingness to expand teaching responsibilities as program enrollment grows
• An openness to and flexibility for teaching more sections of Mandarin in the future, as the program enrollment grows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese or a closely related field (advanced degrees encouraged).
• Fluency in Mandarin
• Teaching credential in Mandarin preferred
• Mastery of subject matter and ability to teach across multiple grade levels.
• Successful teaching experience at the secondary school and/or university level.
• Demonstrated experience integrating educational technology effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
