The ideal candidate is experienced with children ages 2 – 6, flexible, caring, responsible and organized, to support our AMI trained teachers in three different programs. Patience, attention to detail and a sense of humor will be essential.
Job responsibilities include:
- Providing support in three different programs; toddler, primary and after school care
- Playground and lunch supervision
- Working closely with the teacher and children in the after school program
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Other tasks as assigned
Start date is August 25, 2014. Hours are 10:30am — 4:30pm.
Candidates must have a minimum of 6 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, actively working towards 12 units.
Candidates must also possess a current and valid California Driver license with no points on their record. Must submit to LiveScan fingerprint testing through the Department of Justice.
Current CPR and First aid certification a plus. Must have ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
