Middle & Upper School Programming Teacher

About The Nueva School
The Nueva School, located in the Bay Area of Northern California and founded in 1967, is a nationally recognized independent school serving gifted and talented students. The school is a three-time winner of the US Department of Education National Blue Ribbon Award, winner of the American Institute of Architects Award for School Design and Sustainability, and an Apple Distinguished Program.
Nueva is a student-centered progressive school emphasizing integrated studies, creative arts, social-emotional learning, and design thinking. The school offers a constructivist program with project-based learning and special-area teachers in visual art, reading, math, science, music, physical education, technology, social-emotional learning, and design thinking. Our school community inspires passion for lifelong learning, fosters social and emotional acuity, and develops the imaginative mind.
Nueva is located on two campuses in the neighboring Northern California towns of Hillsborough and San Mateo, centrally located equidistant between San Francisco and Silicon Valley.  Students, faculty, and staff commute from six different counties throughout the Bay Area.

We believe in great teachers and in helping people learn and grow. Teachers and staff are supported both financially and through formative evaluation to continue their professional development.
