To start in August 2025, Urban School of San Francisco seeks an energetic history teacher to teach 9th grade world history, 10th/11th grade American History and electives such as Civics, Birth of Modern China, Asian-American History, or other courses based on expertise and experience.
The school is looking for a dynamic, creative teacher who has enthusiasm for working with high school students, a commitment to innovative pedagogy and collaboration with colleagues, a commitment to equity pedagogy, and to their own continued professional growth. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in History, curriculum development experience and at least two years experience teaching history or social studies at the secondary level.
