PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Athenian School seeks an admission representative to join our admission and financial aid team to focus on expanding outreach and increasing awareness of the Athenian School in the Bay Area, across the US and internationally. This person will embrace Athenian’s mission, represent the distinctive programs, and showcase the character of the Athenian experience. With the Admission team, this person will follow admissions and financial aid trends, incorporate best practices in these areas, and develop long-term forward-thinking strategies in accordance with enrollment priorities and school mission. Responsibilities include working well with all stakeholders (students, families, colleagues and alumni), embracing outreach and engagement with a broad array of student and family communities, coordinating visit programs and other events, and participating in the assessment and evaluation of applicants with groups of colleagues. This person will bring innovation to balancing virtual and in person recruitment efforts and will collaborate with the team to design and implement events to powerfully portray the opportunities at Athenian.

They will possess the ability to collaborate effectively with students and colleagues, strong organizational skills, a clear understanding of and appreciation for working with adolescents. Successful applicants will bring strong data analysis skills and experience with admission and financial aid processes and platforms. We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or higher and we welcome interest from candidates with a range of related experiences; the title and responsibilities will correspond to relevant and applicable experience.

BENEFITS, COMPENSATION, PROFESSIONAL GROWTH & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Athenian provides excellent benefits and salaries are competitive and commensurate with work experience and education. The salary range for this role is $75,000 – $120,000. Community members enjoy meals on campus and use of athletics facilities, including a pool, gym and fitness center.

All employees participate in school wide professional development, and have the opportunity to pursue a range of additional professional growth opportunities. These include, but are not limited to, funded participation in professional conferences and continuing education opportunities. Athenian provides needed training for CPR/AED certification.

All employees are expected to attend all-school functions relevant to their role and to participate in supporting the student experience with other school duties as requested by their direct supervisor.
