Overview of School
Park Day School offers an outstanding co-educational K-8 program to over 335 students. The school

Overview of the Position
Practices and games take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (depending
on sport and team). Coach must be available from 3:15pm – 6:30pm on assigned weekdays
through duration of the season of sport. Fall/Winter-1 season runs September 8th – November
20th (including post-season competition and post-season team gathering). Reporting to the Athletic
Director, the school seeks a Middle Soccerl Coach for Park Day School’s Girls Middle School teams and
the Boys Middle School Teams. Teach fundamental soccer/futsal skills to students who have a range of
athletic experience, provide guidance for higher-level players, and coordinate school parents and other
league coaches.
Job Responsibilities
● Develop and lead warm up activities to bring students from Park Day School to the practice field,
onsite and offsite.
● Develop and lead soccer practices, teaching soccer fundamentals, developing student skills, and
educating on strategies and the rules of the game.
● Teach and model good sportspersonship and collaborate with other coaches during games.
● Communicate with the athletic director regarding written messaging to parents/families, and
communicate directly with families around practices and games.
● Monitor student safety and assure students are picked up by their approved adults at the
conclusion of practice and games.
Job Qualifications
● Coaching experience or experience managing, training, and leading groups of students
● Ability to uphold and reinforce school policies and procedures with students and families
● Fingerprinting and TB requirements
● CPR/First Aid Certification
● Professional communication skills with staff, students, and families
● Ability to meet the driving and transportation requirements
