JOB SUMMARY

Crystal seeks a regular, full-time exempt (1.0 FTE, 10-month) Upper School Biology Teacher starting August 2025. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of biology or natural sciences teaching experience OR other relevant academic research and teaching experience.

Required education and experience

At least three years of biology, or natural sciences teaching experience OR other relevant academic research and teaching experience

Preferred education and experience

– Master’s degree
– At least 3 years of teaching biology
– Independent School experience

Physical demands and work environment

– Able to lift up to 25 pounds
– Able to climb stairs

Salary and Benefits

This is a regular exempt full-time (40 hours/week), benefits-eligible, 10-month Faculty position, and the annual salary is commensurate with experience within the range of $83,000 – $150,000.

The recruitment period will remain open until sufficient resumes have been received and may close at any time a sufficient pool of highly qualified candidates has been established.   First consideration will be given to individuals who apply between  April 25-May 2, 2025.   Second consideration will be given to individuals who apply between May 3-9, 2025.  The ideal start date for this position is August 1, 2025.
