Live Oak School
Live Oak, a K-8 independent school in Potrero Hill, currently has an opening for the full-time position of Advancement Associate. The Advancement Associate reports to the Director of Development, supports the Advancement Manager, and is a member of the Administrative Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage donor data and generate reports from Raiser’s Edge.
Lead processing, generation, and mailings of all solicitation and gift acknowledgment letters.
Maintain confidentiality.
Conduct and report on prospective donor research.
Schedule, prepare research, communicate with volunteers, and set up for solicitation meetings.
Oversee Live Oak’s presence in social media outlets.
Execute and build upon Live Oak’s Alumni Strategic Plan.
Write appeals, social media posts, articles for “What’s Brewing”, invitations, and volunteer briefs.
Collaborate with colleagues to advance department and administrative goals.
Promote a positive relationship between the development office and all constituents of the school.
Commit to ongoing professional development.
