Help lead after-school program for approx. 30-50 students at a small independent school, grades TK-8.
mid August 2014 – mid June 2015, 2-6pm, Monday – Friday
Some evening and all-day childcares
Competitive, depends on experience
Supervise students in grades TK-8 in a safe and fun environment. Develop positive relationships with the students and serve as a role model. Create interesting games, activities and projects that encompass the arts, science and recreation. Assist students with homework. Help prepare and clean-up snack and activities. The AEP director may assign additional duties. Report to the AEP director.
Energetic, creative and responsible
Experience working with diverse children, grades TK-8
Sincere interest in working with children
Knowledge of indoor and outdoor activities
Must complete a background check
After-school, camp, and/or teaching experience
