Grade 5 & 6 Science/Health Teacher
Schools of the Sacred Heart San Francisco/Stuart Hall for Boys is seeking excellent candidates for a Science teacher in grades 5 & 6 to begin immediately.

Stuart Hall for Boys (boys, K-8), seeks a Science/Health teacher for grades 5 and 6 who will work closely and collaboratively with Middle Form colleagues, differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles, and understand the developmental needs of young adolescents. The Grade 5/6 science teacher also plays an active role supporting the School’s edible garden and greenhouse.
BA/BS degree (Masters degree, certification or credential is strongly preferred)
2+ years experience working with children in relevant grade levels
knowledge and proficiency in 5th and 6th grade science curriculum: scientific method, earth and life –science, astronomy, health
excellent oral and written communication skills
excellent organizational skills
integration of technology into the curriculum and familiarity with electronic communication modes, including integration and supervision of a 1 :1 iPad program
