Responsibilities:
The Associate Director of Programs reports to the Director of Programs who manages all auxiliary programs including the After-School Programs, The Summer Enrichment Program and the Heads Up program. As a primary responsibility, the Associate Director is the administrative and educational leader of the Heads Up program, responsible for day-to-day operations, finances, funding, personnel, program development, student success and marketing. Other duties include managing the summer program website, hiring procedures, special projects and general administrative work.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and will have significant experience working in the non-profit environment.
-Experience in an educational/academic setting and with youth programs.
-Skill in curriculum design and program vision implementation.
-Candidates should also have a minimum of 3+ years in a supervisory role.
-Knowledge of staff training and evaluation.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, grant writing background a plus.
-Familiarity and understanding of issues related to diversity and the OUSD school system.
-Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and manage new technology.
