Accountant Bookkeeper: Temporary Position (1 month – start date: week of June 17, 2012)

Position Description:The Accountant / Bookkeeper is responsible for the daily operation of the School’s finances, including preparation of payroll information, general ledger entries and reports, accounts payable, reconciling bank statements and other duties as specified. Core Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance in a medium or large business environment.
• Expert knowledge using Blackbaud’s Education Edge Software a must.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel in particular).
• Excellent organization and communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and adept at attention to detail.
• Commitment to customer service and honoring confidentiality of information is essential.
